Founded in 2011, the LA Legacy Jazz Orchestra is a West Monroe, Louisiana based ensemble with a rotating cast of seasoned musicians carrying on the traditional sound of the legendary big bands. The orchestra is a 13 piece swingin' big band featuring sets that encompass all styles of music from Frank Sinatra to Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Buble, to Glen Miller, Joe Cocker, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago and more! They play everything from classic big-band to funk, Latin and salsa! The LA Legacy Jazz Orchestra is a multi-generational ensemble uniting like-minded musicians with a mission to celebrate and preserve the big band tradition with incredible arrangements, musicianship, and artistic direction. The band features a variety of guest vocalists including Bach Norwood, Naomi Holder and Adam Jones.
